This Credit Card Binding & Payment Disclaimer (“Disclaimer”) applies to all users of the Fanvero platform (“Fanvero,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) who bind their credit cards to their accounts or use such cards for payments on the platform. By proceeding with credit card binding and payment activities on Fanvero, you agree to the terms of this Disclaimer.

1. Third-Party Payment Processing

All credit card transactions on the Fanvero platform are processed by third-party payment service providers (“Payment Processors”) that are fully compliant with applicable financial regulations and certified under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). These Payment Processors are solely responsible for storing, encrypting, and managing your sensitive cardholder data.

Fanvero does not collect, store, or have direct access to your full credit card number, CVV, or other secure authentication data. Such information is collected and handled exclusively by our authorized Payment Processors through secure, encrypted channels.

2. Purpose of Credit Card Binding

By binding your credit card to your Fanvero account, you authorize us to transmit necessary payment-related data to one or more Payment Processors in order to:

• Process payments to creators;
• Facilitate multi-channel or multi-currency routing;
• Enable recurring or one-click transactions where applicable;
• Prevent fraud, assess risk, and comply with applicable laws.

We only transmit such information as is necessary to perform the transaction or to comply with regulatory obligations.

3. Consent to Data Use and Sharing

By using your credit card on Fanvero, you explicitly consent to the following:

• Your card data (limited to non-sensitive reference tokens or encrypted identifiers) may be shared with our Payment Processors to enable and complete your transactions;
• Your information may be stored in accordance with Payment Processor policies and data retention requirements;
• Your data may be transferred and processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, subject to appropriate legal safeguards.

We do not sell your payment information to third parties under any circumstances.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fanvero shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from:

• Payment failures, processing delays, or interruptions caused by Payment Processors;
• Unauthorized transactions resulting from a breach of your device, account, or credentials;
• Errors committed by the Payment Processors or your issuing bank;
• Chargebacks, disputes, or refunds managed by third-party financial institutions.

You acknowledge that Fanvero is not a licensed financial institution and does not operate as a merchant of record for credit card transactions.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring that the credit card you bind is lawfully owned and authorized for use;
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials and device;
• Immediately reporting unauthorized activity to both Fanvero and your card issuer;
• Reviewing and complying with the Payment Processor’s separate terms and conditions, if applicable.

6. Data Protection and International Transfers

We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with:

• The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) if you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA);
• The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) if you are a California resident;
• Other applicable data privacy laws depending on your jurisdiction.

We may transfer personal data to countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States and Singapore. Where applicable, such transfers are governed by legal mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Card Removal and Opt-Out

You may remove your credit card from your Fanvero account at any time via the Settings section. Once removed, your card data will no longer be used for future transactions, except as required for:

• Fraud prevention;
• Dispute resolution;
• Legal compliance with transaction records.

If you wish to have all payment reference data deleted from our systems, please email support@fanvero.co.

8. Changes to This Disclaimer

We reserve the right to modify this Disclaimer at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of credit card services on the platform after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
